Since 1986, Checker Sedan’s Group Transportation division, formally known as Commuter Express, operates a fleet of 27-passenger mini-buses and 56-passenger luxury motor coaches. Our vehicles and courteous drivers have helped us build a strong reputation for reliability, safety and luxury.
We adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations and have received the highest rating possible on all random DOT inspections. Our vehicles receive a preventative maintenance service every 6,000 miles with periodic maintenance performed sooner if needed. All maintenance is performed on-site at our Dearborn Heights facility.
